From Japan to SL

March has come but I got through this winter again without any skiing. I searched for ski resorts in SL but found no new one. Also, it is too bad that there is no powder snow in SL. At a ski resort in California, there was a person skiing with this kind of outfit. I did not do.




There are some good snow areas but few good ski animations. I bought a TV game named STEEP. Not only ski and snowboard but also paraglider and wing suits are available.




As games with dynamic movement such as car driving or airplanes. SL cannot compete against TV games. Yacht is the only exemption that there is no good TV game for it, but it is also obsoleted now. SL is still good in 3D figures and sceneries. But the leading theme may become not Avatar but art and landscape?




Pictures this time are all composite with inlet. It is easy to change face but hard to draw the body. Someone said that Temi started to be looked like a middle-aged housewife. It could be natural since more than ten years have passed…





  

My favorite page The world of Yana featured nice autumn fields, so I visited there to shoot pictures. I tend to touch and sit on anything when I found some interesting goods. It might come from the hand-on type UWA arts.

It is rather difficult to stand on this kind of narrow objects. It is only to stand on it after flying above, but the knack is to look down while adjusting the position.




The old article using anti-gravity board. This is not a composite but adjusting the standing position.




Once getting the suitable position, then it is possible to use various poses. It will be failure if the foot is out of the position, that looks you floating in the air.




The walking on a beam in the last article was using walking animation after standing on the beam. It is possible to walk on the beam actually, but impossible to shoot pictures while walking.






  

Autumn colors are going to fade away. I walked around to take some pictures that I was not able to shoot for the photo contest.




There are many good autumn types of scenery, but few laarge forests with full autumn colors.




There are many multi-SIM forests fully covered with snow, but I wonder why there are few mountains or forests with autumn leaves.




Beautiful towns with autumn colors therer are. It could be the reason that it is hard to make a ground covered with autumn leaves without making some repetitive pattern, on the other hand it is easy to build a snow-covered land.




I was exhausted by walking through scores of SIMs. I came as a fresh evaluation of the Yana’s page and Tempura Island that keeps beautiful forest since ten years ago.




Tried a picture following the contest requirement, this was not submitted though. Since this is in a town, I do not like the buildings shown among the trees, but this one could be better for the contest^-^




  

The theme of the November Photo Contest at Pochi Aquarium is “Autumn leaves”, so I went out for shooting. I had meant to get a picture of a full red avatar in bright autumn colors, but was not able to find a good spot. This is at the Autumn Forest in the Japan Tempura Island. The trees are not made of modern sculp or mesh but flat panels with some textures, but the taste is excellent as ever. This SIM has not been changed for more than ten years but still gathers many guests, that is a wonder of SL. It may be because of the established theme, love and healing, and the dedicated efforts of the family members.




I visited several autumn SIMs but most of them are somewhat dark, that might be the image of autumn? When I was at New Jersey, it was great to see the whole township was covered with bright colors.




The dark scenery above can be changed with setting the sun as sunset, but I would like to see an ample field and forest with full of bright autumn colors. Please advise me of a large place if anyone knows.






  

The theme of the October Photo Contest at Pochi Aquarium was “Money”, but nobody applied so far. Money is not easy to shoot as a photo theme. I took a money tree that has been very kind of me. This one is not the picture that I submitted to the contest. There is a trivia game here that gives L$2 for each correct answer. There are 50 questions every time so I can get some amount of L$. When I was working in SL, I paid for three homes, total about L$10,000 every month and also was earning almost the same, but after quitting jobs, I am living in narrow circumstances. At that time I thought nothing about camping or lucky boards since L$20 is only 10 yen in RL, but now I realized the value of money recently, it is hard to get money, both in RL and SL.



Money reminds me of “Money, money, money” in the movie Mamma Mia. Also there was “Money” by Pink Floyd. I should have took these kind of images for the contest…

Toward the end of summer… This year, I neither had a chance to wear a swimsuit nor to buy it. After a long interval, visited Kazumi’s underwater park next to my gallery. In the direction of their gaze, there is an underwater DJ booth and they are listening to the music. But sad to say, all mermaids are me. In former days, there were many kinds of mermaids dancing around. Kazumi, would you host a dance party again?

I did the multi-pose pictures several times. I think the below is the best. There was no pose ball so I adjusted the pose and size one by one. When there is a back ground, it is easy to cut out but in a case like this it needs to follow the body outline that takes much more time.

The theme this month is “hydrangea”, no editing, and size of 512x512. This one was enlarged. Since hydrangea has many colors, we became plain gray. This skin had been made for a joke but I used it many times for art shooting or photo contests. Please see an old article for other colored skins.

My friend Alha kindly let me use her room for shooting, together with a lot of hydrangea. This is practice of layout and lighting with erasing other objects. To erase is Edit-More-More-Derender-Temporary. The object will be erased only for you and come back after TP. If you choose Blacklist instead of Temporary, the object will not return until you delete it from the list.




This hydrangea is not bright and changes the color according to the environments. Bright objects are beautiful at night but the color stays the same with different lighting.




The wood in the first picture is the wall paper of the Alha’s room that fit well with somewhat dark image of the hydrangea. I used the sunset setting for the shooting.







  

This is when I started SL, at a garden of the landlord Typer Jun. When I started SL, I wanted to do something that I cannot do in RL. To lie on a tulip garden might be one of them.




A garden in front of my old home, Temi’s Teahouse. I had meant to plant more but there was a limit of Prims….




Also my previous home at Baba. I put sunflower as much as possible.




This is at the same home too. Personally I love rape blossoms, Eastern daisy, cosmos, and poppy, those there is plenty of them.




At the planet Pandora, unknown flowers. It seems not made for Pandora exclusively. Too bad that the Planet Pandora with four SIMs had gone.




Cosmos and poppy fields where I visited before. It was free to take out so I got armload of flowers but they faded before I got home…







  

At the Lounge Blue of Momozo, Lyka became a beautiful angel with Bento wings that I was not able to see. They said the wing was so realistic with flowing movement.




Lyka’s beautiful face could be made of mesh that showed good matching of skin and shape, especially the nose is beautiful! If there were nice facial expression, it might be perfect. Next to her, there was a beautiful lady with Bento face that was super gorgeous, but I could not see either. The only things I saw were her hair, eyeballs, ears with nice piercing, and most of all a naked brain! That is rather grotesque than strange and the picture is not suitable here. It is said that the newest viewer can show Bento, so I would do the upgrade.





  

This was made while gathering sick pictures for my gallery. The silver body was bought at Incilico. The liquid metal body may not be edible? The cooking process may be introduced at my gallery later.
