Tempura 6th Anniversary

Visited the 6th anniversary concert at Tempura Island. The SIM soon reached the limit.

It was a solo vocal recital by Lisa Brune, a famous singer in SL. The chair seats in front of the stage soon became full and most of us stood to watch.

There were few special decoration for the anniversary but elegant snack catering on a side table.

The aureate dome on the hall like the palace of Ekaterina. There are more gorgeous rooms and corners at Tempura Island in addition to the main hall.

A bridge from the TP point to the main hall. There are many beautiful areas in SL other than this, but there are many guests coming here every day although there have been neither significant change nor fancy event. The reason why it attracts so many people could be the good concept or management, but it should be a miracle in SL to have kept it for 6 years. I come here not so often since it makes me feel lonely if coming alone. On the day I had an appointment with someone but he was AFK at the time…

Liquid Mesh

The other day at Baba, Kazumi was blasting beams.

She always brings in interesting gadgets, I thought this was also a new object but this was seen only by me.

It was interesting to see the beams move violently with the dance, so I took many pictures.

This was a bug of my old Firestorm viewer that cannot handle a new shape called liquid mesh. Kazumi kindly changed into a bathing suit and revealed the outrageous body…

Needily I updated the viewer. At the new dance stage that Kazumi newly set by the sea. We are getting together every Saturday. Please join. This spot is on the Linden Sea. There is a start line for ocean yacht race.

Temple in a forest

While looking for Angkor Wat, I ran into a temple in a jungle. It is dark even at noon, but it is good in SL to be able to let in the sunshine.

The buildings were blended into the jungle and it is not easy to find them. The real ruin of temples could be covered by woods.

The real Angkor Wat is in an open space but there might be some temples or ruins in a forest like this. It is also nice thing in SL that there is no bug or snake while strolling around.

There was an oriental corner. There are other temples below ground in the water.

The vegetation looks like that at Pandora. I miss the Navi world that had many SIMs before.

For a change I wore Navi avatar for a portrait. It is bad that this avatar that I edited the shape is useless now. Next thing to come might be a frozen world and The Snow Queen?

Drunk

There was a passout by the roadside. Without noticing a bottle held in her hand, it looked like a body of a murder victim.

This is not an avatar with the pose but a manikin. The completely unconscious blank face is sexy.

I noticed several manikins of drunk at art SIMs or some such. There is a special shop for that. As a fainting fancier, I would buy these if they were not manikins but pose balls

Unrealized backdrop

The other day, one of my friends made a public rehearsal. On the previous day I was asked if I have some suitable photos for the backdrop, so I checked my inventory and go out for shooting some scenery in a rush. But by mistake I considered that the rehearsal was canceled and was not possible to attend it. This one is taken at Champs Elysees for a backdrop for cancan.

Some of them might be used but she did not remember which one was. This is one of the Paris taken with different lighting.

This one was Red Square for the music ‘Moscow Nights’. The backdrop for dance show is difficult. If it is in perspective, it looks strange according to viewers position, and if it is detailed the dance will not stand out.

This was prepared for modern couple dance, a street at New York.

This was also for modern dance, a ruined New York.

Might be good for belly dances, now-defunct Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal at break of dawn. I thought it could be good to switch the lighting according to music change. There pictures were of no use this time. It could be possible to set several backdrops to create three dimensional effect, but I realized that my photograph mainly for landscape will not do for a stage that is a different world for me. This show was only for rehearsal and there was no real performance and the stage was moved and reconstructed, so my pictures became phantom for good or for bad.
