Edit Linked
Worn a pumpkin head again for the Halloween. It is like a masquerade. I thought a mask needs beautiful nose and mouth, but since the Bento somewhat did it, I exposed my nose and mouth. This pumpkin is for garden decoration. I made it smaller to fit my head but there is a limit. So, I used “Edit Linked” command to change the size one by one, and edit the shape to fit my head. Together with the hat, it took more than two hours to get the result…
Even an editable object, sometimes there is a limit to reduce the size maybe because of the limit of the small part included in it. The glasses shown in picture 1 is cute but a bit too large for me and cannot be reduced the size further. It is possible to change the individual component size with the Edit Linked command. But there are more than twenty parts in this glass such as bridge and temple, those should be edited following the lens change. I did it while wearing it, but it was tough job since some parts were in my hair or was lost. It is recommended to use a sandbox and do it independently. It is hard to do it twice, it is better to make a far small one and use Stretch command to fit the face. The glasses in the picture 4 was for male and I made it small, but it was easy since there were only a few parts, lens, frame and temple. Particle Art
Visited the SIM of Roxy, a particle artist. Roxy also designed the farewell party of LEA. I used the pictures several times in my blog. This is a shop but there are many cool displays.

When shooting arts, it is one of my joys to select suitable clothing for the art. In former years there were several chances for that like LEA or UWA. It is also enjoyable to bring out clothing that I wear seldom or never. This is a dress that has the largest flare, that I wore only once at Edo, together with my friend, dancing in the night sky.

This is also almost unpractical dress. It is only a nuisance while dancing.
I like this kind of geometric configuration. My dress bottom does fit the shape.
An art named “Tunnel”. The whole figure is rotating slowly, so I felt heavy seasick while shooting pictures. There were dance balls, but I hardly like dancing here.
This time I used the “Japanese national flag composition” that locates the subject in the middle, which is not recommended in photography text books. I normally use the rule of thirds, but it could be interesting to allow myself to use Japanese flag pattern with this kind of geometric design.

Smile with Bento
Following the last article, I searched smiling faces. In the GENUS free set, there are 46 kinds of facial expressions in the HUD and 17 animations through direct commands. Unfortunately, most of them are strange faces that I would not use. There are only these that can be called “smile”.
Different from a sleeping face that is kept still, most of the expressions are momentary. Nobody would notice since I am dancing almost always, if not few people look at my face closely. It would be useful only for taking self-portraits like these.
I looked smiling faces with Bento on the Internet, but I found not many. Someone asked where to find a nice smiling face in SL. The two below are super. The cheek shape and texture are also modified. It may be some lag to change texture, so it could cause gray face while switching faces.
This is my normal face. It could help to reduce the ungenial feeling by applying some facial expression. But this free set has many bugs, in addition to the strange face and slant eyes that I introduced before, the face will not return to the original after face expression or the tongue stays in the lips after sticking out.

Close Eyes on Bento2
Since I was not able to close my eyes at the date the other day, I visited again and asked my sister to help taking picture. I had meant to be like this. If we were in such mood next time…
May be because of the position adjustment, it was not the last pose gazing at his face. This is not expecting kiss but a sleeping face. Pretending to fall asleep is one of poses though. To sleep in front of his eyes could be to show trust that I accept anything he would do. It should be scary if someone let me sleep to do bad things on me. But in SL, it is OK since I will remain conscious. But that could be the reason why I feel some embarrassing.
When I came here first time, I was wrapped up shooting pictures, but when came back again alone, it was cold and felt lonely here.

Close Eyes on Bento
I worked hard to find the way to close my eyes nicely with Bento, and finally became possible to close eyes, so I visited the medical center at INSILICO. But this table should not be for surgery but for autopsy,
If this is an autopsy, I care nothing about it since I do not feel anything and will never wake up. I watched some video of autopsy on the Internet. It is far more than the nose surgery I introduced before. The body is opened from berry to chest, and whole inside parts are taken out. When opening the brain, the skin of head is rolled down toward the face.
If the eyes are closed simply with GENUS Strong Face, it ends up with slant eyes, so in these pictures the outer corner was lowered by adjusting the shape. If the eyes are opened at this shape they will be drooping, I had meant to be the same but the eyelid width is different here. I cannot see the reason. May be because this shape is free gift, the eyeshadow and eyelash cannot be edited smoothly. I do not need coarse fluttering eyelash but it could be a bit longer to shape the closed line.
I went out on a date for the first time in years. He took me to the island where I took pictures of aurora the other day. Since it was after a dance, I was wearing the formal clothing. Such a romantic pose. I was wondering if I would close my eyes moonily, but I was worrying about resulting in a strange face and was not able to do so. In addition, I do not care nothing for putting pictures on my blog, but felt somewhat embarrassed as there was someone next to me.
Even so harsh and provoking face, it could be acceptable if both smiling and sleeping faces are cute, someone said. The sleeping face could have been achieved, so the rest is smiling, that is tough to get. Please visit my old article for the effort so far.
