From Japan to SL

  

In front of Pin2's house in the Amakuni SIM, there is GUNDAM standing, which is a gorgeous one using more than 300 prims. Besides the exhibition model, there is a wearing type, of which height is less than the model for some reason. This is not the law of perspective^-^.




Hisanori wore it and broke in the usual meeting area, where many classic cars, sport cars, and also tanks and warplanes are situated.




Normally this kind of wearing model has provided with several moving patterns as presets, bit this GUNDAM moves as the avatar does, synchronizing dances perfectly. The avatar inside should be enlarged too.




I removed the attachment while he was wearing them and found the inside avatar, which is big change from the normal child shape of Hisanori.




The title GunDance may sounds strange, but it could be OK since there are GunCannon or GunTank. But why are they in such shape for battles in the space? The hands could be acceptable but the caterpillar! That could be, “Those are nothing but garnishes. Executives do not understand it.” That famous line in the comic was mostly misused as, “The legs are nothing but garnishes.” So. the caterpillar was also a garnish^-^. Although it was said that when developed there was no reliable legs available for that heavy armor.





  

The other day I introduced a precision dance by twins. This is at March 2008, when I took the first picture of precision dance at Kikyo. The picture quality was low and the dancing was not smooth. But still we were able to make so pricise formation. We were all good and loved dancing. The Yakitori shop behind and the slide-show board on the roof are still set at the current club Kikyo Memorial.




It was a custom to form a line when dancing. We were forming an orderly line naturally without any positioning balls.




Even not a straight line, we were making some formation in the course by ourselves. The position and angle were all adjusted individually.




We ended up with a circle of ourselves and no one would go into the middle area. The ring-shaped positioning balls were not popular at that time.




They were members of a dance group “Kinoichi” except me on the right end, so they were good at dancing unsurprisingly. At dance shows, dance ball sets including movement were used. I joined a dance show on a stage once, but it was not interesting to sit on a designated ball at a specific timing. The dance master who creates and set the dances was great though.




It was also joy to dance with mermaid costumes. At this time someone set a blue drop curtain.




Even Totoros made a line. Is it humorous or overdone?




There were up to 29 members following the helm by Hal9000 standing in front of them. Unfortunately, I missed this chance so this picture is a work by Hal himself, a prizewinning photograph at 2011 Baba photo contest. Hal has been using the same shape and costume since then and is doing well even now.



I love to move around while dancing, to turn in time to music or to follow the partner who leads me. It was a great joy to do figure skating with animation, following a leader to make a pair skating. After that positioning dance balls became popular, and at some clubs I was advised not to move around personally. I am sorry that there are few people to dance moving to the music now, changing with the time….





  

Kazumi after changed to a mesh head, becoming a bit cartoonish.




Even with a school uniform, she looks stronger like a titty-boo dainty girl in addition to the cute, due to the aging effect?




She brought in many elfish gadgets. Recently she wore a display saying “System Failure”.




I have the same taste but she may have some SL death wish? To die is one of the things that can be done only in SL. This is at the very old Club Kikyo. She has had a tail since then.




Her dead body carried away I thought and took a close look, then suddenly she opened her mouth widely.　By the way, the last article got the 2nd position in the article ranking. Thank you for visiting! It might be because of the name of Kazumi, or was it misunderstood that the Japanese character Amakuni can be read as the heaven, that meant Kazumi passed away?

At the public bath at Amakuni. In case of Kazumi, it looks like a drowned body. This is not a mixed bathing and has different changerooms, but a bathing clothing will be required since there is no partition.

Last week at the Kikyo Memorial, Kazumi the owner wore a tiger pattern jumping ahead. (The Oriental Zodiac next year is Tiger.) The clothing of Rum the animation character was made by herself. I also had another one but forgot it at that time.




She was so cool that I took many pictures, but I was not able to find a story, so the followings are her cute pictures from my archive.




It was at an early days of the Club Kikyo. She was adolescent and cute even with a classic avatar.




When she lost her clothing as a bug. Her body had grown up already. The white hut behind is “The house of Ponta”. He is doing well even now at Amakuni.




There are several clones of Kazumi like Mizuka.




She was so cute that it is hard to see this is a classic avatar. She made the shape by herself.




At that time, it was popular to make a sub-account as a twin. They are well aligned even without dance balls. Everyone was a good dancer before. Next time, I will introduce current shape of Kazumi and her secret tastes.






  

December 2009, a line dance at Kikyo that has moved. A rare photo of daily life with name tags. There was no pose-ball for the dance and we had to make the line ourselves.




Besides the portrait right, I wish I would have taken more pictures with name tags. This is a daily life at Club Kikyo, in March 2008. We are gathering together every day like this. On the near side across the road, there are Club SekiGetuKa and tennis court of Yasuya, RL tennis coach. The white wall on the right is Zeron’s store, and Panda Mart is behind the Yakitori shop. We knew all neighbors as friend. The wooden bench and cat sofa are still at the Kikyo Memorial now as twelve years ago. Also, there are some old peoples at that time. Please visit!

New Year’s visit to a shrine in 2014. We did this every year at Kikyo and there were many small events, but this is the only photo with tags. At this time, I took this one since it was immediately after the INSUMMER concert and there were some new persons included.




November 2010, a flamenco troop gathered at Barcelona SIM that would be closed. My friend Mizuki invited me. This is the largest group of 30 at one time, total 43 with the identical clothing I experienced ever.

Another friend quitted SL. Someone made his grave and asked me to engrave it. The gravestone was non modifiable, so I put another plate, put letters on it, and adjusted the color rendering properties.




The theme of the July photo contest at Poti Aquarium was grave. I tried to find grave yards but there are few in SL. Most of them are for Halloween or vampires, spooky ones. I took the picture at Pyramid which is still there. Please visit my old articles.

Another day at Poti Aquarium. There were many cases with a lot of particles. There were joyful ones but some generated thousands of black bats or strange marks endlessly that we called terror. I took many pictures but I did not use them in my blog since it would be the purpose of the baddies. This one shoots out many victims, but it is good that they vanishes soon.




This was at the old Baba. Troops of naked Santa Claus. Someone said Mobbish Suit Santam (Mobile Suit Gundam is a Japanese comic).




There are some particles like a firework set by the land owner. This was also at Baba before. There were guests from overseas. It was full of life, a good old days…





  

Let me introduce my favorite SIMi. At the center, there is the Yakitori shop Kikyou that has been since 2006 with little change. It moved several times due to SIM movements, but was continued thanking Kazumi who has been the organizer from the beginning. There are many interesting facilities and clubs but following the policy of the mama Kikyou the founder, they are all free with no tipping. Thank you Kazumi and Hisanori who are now managing the land. Dance party has been held every Saturday for these ten years. I am hard to come due to job change since last year, but please come and enjoy, from my gallery ^-^




I have been here renting a small area since this year since my place was closed. At least I set a pier. There is the Linden Sea in front of, so it is possible to rez a yacht to sail out. It is too bad that the yacht cannot be kept moored due to the prim limit. Hisanori’s apartment is on the right that is released for free. There is a base of hinky kidlet corps on the roof top.




There is no beach here, so I put some seaweed and fish at the bottom.




It is possible to walk on the bottom to the Kazumi’s unders
ea park. Also the beach party area is not so far.

Christmas has come at Yakitori shop Kikyou.




At a Yakitori shop in front of a public bath next to a tramline, there are Christmas decorations and illuminations. Also there are square wooden bench and a large cat sofa they have been there since the opening. There is also a metal barrel bath in front of a public bath house.




Such a big variations in the decoration rather provides a kind of warm feeling different from a well-organized ones under a simple theme. Thank you Kazumi!






  

Last Saturday at Baba was still enjoying the New Year’s holidays. While talking about an earthworm found in a fast-food, many fishes came out.




In earlier times, fishing was popular and there were many fishing piers. If a boat was built, it was possible to fish anyplace and someone started fishing in a dance hall. Together with footbath and raising hoses, fishing is one of things slowing down in SL. There might be more…
