From Japan to SL

  

Visited a school festival beauty contest held at JSAPO where my friend attended. Different from RL, there is less resistance felt for beauty pageants in SL. It might be out of manner to mention personal appearance in RL (I was obliged to wear my face) but it should be OK since they are picking up the appearance to their wish.




There were many beautiful avatars, but I took pictures of my favorites only. This is Jun Claremont, could be a mysterious transfer student who we cannot tell how sharp she is.




Hajime2000, a dancer at Café Pleiades. Could be a girl in science class with high IQ…




Isato Xstar, could be a go-getter school gang master by acting naïve unaffected…




My friend Alha Iwish took first prize. Sorry for over-exposed due to lighting. It carries an image of intelligence and strength that could be the power to garner votes, the shadow student master.

  

Same as last time. There was also Tomoko in front of them, but she wore micro-bikini only that looked like naked with trace of sun burn, so I took the shot while she was away. Sorry Tomoko.




I got a pumpkin that was set on the floor and put it on. This picture was taken next morning.




Since this pumpkin was editable, I adjusted the size and texture position. Is this rater cooler than putting whole one on?

  

My PC is not in good condition recently and it is hard to log in. This picture was taken before. Baba Meeting Area is with Halloween decoration until end of this month. Tomorrow will be the last Saturday. Please drop in.

I do not recall where I got this bizarre dress. This could be a free one at some place. I wore this at the Halloween party at Club Pleiades.




Since it was a masked ball, I wore inky black skin. Any texture can be pasted on an editable skin as tatoo. This was done by using blank and color black. It looks like a manikin at jewelry shop. With black cloth, eyes and hair, you can make a silhouette avatar.

  

I have introduced how to use old shoes with newer viewers. I found a shop where several transparent socks are provided for free. Different from the ones in demo sets, these are copiable and possible to incorporate into each outfit.

The left is without socks with shadow. The right is using one of the transparent socks. In order to get shadow in FireStorm viewer, crick Avatar, performance, Graphics, and check Advanced Lighting Model.

There are various socks included in the free set. These are for short boots. The left is a bit shorter.




This one has more tore than the one I used before and can be used with open-toe sandals. Although there are some spots that do not fit well, but this is much better than the left. Recently Kazumi at Baba has grown mammoth. The other day her body vanished. This may be a reading error of the transparent shirt. Other person at the site noticed that only her feet were invisible. Her face was visible since it was an independent object.




It is easy to look up because of the size. It should be a big issue in case of missing clothing in lower body as Suzu experienced before…




Her height could be about 13m. It is rather not cool but a show on a pillory.
