Dragon Curves
Visited one of the LEA full-SIM art, Dragon Curves by Mac Kanashimi. Mac is the artist of a fractal art, Mandelbrot that I reported before. Dragon curve is also a self-similar fractal curves approximated by recursive methods. He said this one is the largest work he did until now.

Colorful columns range over a full SIM and changes landscape continuously. It is a bit hard to take picture since they move while selecting camera angle. He said the umber of columns is about 26,000 pieces!

Three stages were set in the sky, separated by 500m each other, total height of more than 1000m. It is impossible to shoot the total view even with the longest camera range. Between the stages, there are stairways. It should be possible to walk up or down along the stairway but I failed and fell off.

Under the stage. Also columns are moving here. Some case moves the one I am standing on it.

These columns were not set by hand but generated automatically by a ‘non-recursive’ script that he said it was easier than the one for Mandelbrot, but I respect a person who can create this kind of art with script, that should be a magic for me. The throb when this comes out at the first time with the new script would be granted only for the creator…
