Circles
The presentation at LEA in April was Circles Within Circles by Rebeca Bashly & ConstructivIST Solo. Rebeca is the artist who did the full-SIM art, Dante's Divine Comedy. This art was within a globe with 200m in diameter. The shape of the terrain seemed strange because it was reversed.

The artist comments: "By no means is this exhibit intended to be comprehensive; it can't be. However, we hope that the visitor will come to the recognition that there is an overarching interconnectedness not only between science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, but that this interconnectedness, this fabric of that which is and that which makes up the human experience, very much also includes the social and behavioral domains." There were many images of circles such as ouroboros snake, symbol of samsara, Mobius strip, gears and wheels.

At the center, there was a huge lacerated head that may depict an inseparable interconnectedness in human being. The face also seems like the earth.

The huge frames that support the globe are also made with circles. This may also depict a sacred representation of the cyclic nature of the universe and of the human experience.

A nice versicolor flower ring that can be thout by everyone but is hard to make beautiful.

The oldest circle that human made, Stonehenge. Interpretations in RL regarding astronomy seem to be a forced analogy, but the charm and concern regarding circles have been there since ancient times.
