Moving Island

At the LEA art presentation Moving Island that I introduced last time, there are many arts by 24 artists, including Haveit and Oberon who kindly allowed me to use pictures of their art in my blog before. And Maclane who is one of my customers. This is a beautiful tower by Merlino Mayo.

Floor of the sea by Meilo Minotaur, a bit different from normal bed of the sea that reminds me of a stage for an adventure game.

Strange creatures made by Cutea Benelli.

A cow with submarine armor? There is a creature named Umi-Ushi (sea cow in Japanese) but it is sea slug in English.

This is the one I saw a long time ago, made by Aley. This is rather like sea hare than sea slug. I like this kind of shapes that do not exist in RL.

Refcections

Relating to the previous article for water surface, reflecting water surface of LEA November and December presentation, Moving Island. Mostly inverted objects are set underneath in order to get mirror image but this is real reflections.

Returned to normal settings.

There is no ruffles, really as smooth as glass.

Depending on the area, there are double images like those of a glass plate.

There is a tyrannosaurus sweeping the surface. He seems to be the same one that appeared at my gallery. Interestingly shadows are not shown in the reflected image.

I did the same way at my gallery but this is a viewer setting that can be seen only myself. In order to make it visible to others, it requires SIM editing authority.

Cool Background

Coralreef has set a three-dimensional background around her private SIM. In the case of other SIMs that I have reported before, there was background with twelve-SIM-size around three SIMs, which does not exist anymore. Coralreef’s one is blended into the real SIM smoothly and it is hard to find the border.
Ambient SIM: http://temisirbu.slmame.com/e1044895.html

There is a chapel. My bad habit is to get the urge to stand on this kind of tip…

It is joyful to shoot SSs since the scenery is cool. It is good that the background can react the lighting change properly. Recent movies might be using three dimensional CG instead of old painted backgrounds.

For a change, I tried various poses. Since these are not composite, there are not so many poses that match the foot position. Coralreef’s SIM is open for public.

Took a boat ride around the church. Paddling by oneself. There are turning animation. The move is leisurely and it is possible to paddle while chatting, it should be good for a couple…

It seems that it can keep paddling into the long canal but this is the SIM border. Coralreef did a nice job in selecting water surface setting that made difficult to notice the border. Her SIM is open for public. There is an amusement park too.

New Year and Indian Summer

There were not so many members on the New Year’s holidays at Baba. This year the Kotatu (a small table with a heater underneath and covered by a quilt) was set outside, a bit cold.

This year’s first visit to the shrine was to go to Neko-jinja (cat shrine) as year before last. Partly because of the late time, the attendants were about half of the last year.

On the day there was a concert by Indian Summer. Kanachan1022 the singer of the group also attended after quick cloth change.

The live concert was held until just before. The audiences were more than fifty. Since there were some who popped in and out (dropped?) so I am sorry but there will be some name missing. The group Indian Summer has been performing live concert every 13th at Baba. Recently there were too many audiences and someone could not enter. Next performance will be January 13. Kazumi kindly expanded the seats to the next SIM, so it will be possible to have more than 100 guests. Please drop in.

Thank you for inquiring about the calendar that I introduced last time. As I mentioned, it is not possible to get it by touching the calendar presented at my gallery. Sorry for the trouble but please send IM to Temi Sirbu.

Calender

Made a calendar for this year. It changes the page automatically, and the today-mark also moves by itself according to Japan time. The calendar was made by Hajime2000 and I only did the picture and fonts. The below is a world time available free.

Put it at my home on the top if my galley. I had meant to make it available by touching it but by unknown reason it does not behave when edited. It is too bad that Hajime the creator seems to be busy and cannot be reached.

I put it above my cash machine covering obstructive advertising board (sorry). If you have your own cash machine, you can get the commission.

I made this kind of numbers for twelve months those can be set on a single texture. The calendar automatically select the suitable portion.

The pictures are also set on a single texture like this, so it saves reading time and upload fee. You can set your own pictures using this format. In case that you are interested in, please contact me.
