Nude Photo

Replaced the exhivision on the second floor with new nine pictures titled “Misty". The underwater series of last month are still on at the third floor. I will continue for a while but may change them spontaneously at any time. Please do not miss it!

Whole my gallery is for nude photo (of avatars) now. Since it may not be suitable to introduce them here, I put swimming suit on. It made a plane picture. Please see the original at my gallery. For my photo study, visited more than fifty galleries that include nude arts. I am sorry but I cannot introduce the arts directly here. There are many ones of different categories, but beautiful ones with real models are more excellent than those with avatars, although there might be more restrictions in pose or background in RL. The difference could be the existence of real human body. There might be a beauty of living female that is not only an object. I dearly wish if I were able to shoot beautiful models. I took myself in RL but it was worth a damn.

Does it mean that avatars cannot reach the beauty of real body although the shape can be made freely? Or is it a matter of taste and technique to shoot avatars? Someone said that there are many beautiful things in SL, but none of them were made by itself and always there are creators behind them. Beauty of real thing versus art, it could be said regarding paintings or sculptures. While looking around, at least I realized that my way to shoot what I cannot do in RL is one of the ways to go. But my ones are only for my complacence and cannot be called as arts. That might be the reason why I named my gallery “Photo Studio” when I built it.

The article for the last month Underwater is here.

Shooting Winter

I reported before that when bright objects with transparent portion are doubled it becomes too bright, but it can be resolved by using the lowest picture quality. This phenomenon will be also applied for bright trees. But it becomes too dark with the lowest quality, and face lights will not work. This picture is made with the lowest quality at the top half and the highest at the lower.

This picture also using the lowest quality at the top half but the brightness is enough. If the high quality is used, it will be white-outed.

It is possible to shoot even with the high quality if camera angle is carefully selected. This picture is not modified. Blight objects behind were closed out by adjusting view distance or derendered one by one. This was after the Baba dance party on the last Saturday, where I did not get any partner throughout the party and was not satisfied, so I continued dancing on the way to my home across the street.

Nice Reflection

Again the art SIM by Neox. There were several other spot with nice floor reflection, but these chairs are set on the water. Although there is no reflection of the door and the tree on the right, there is sitting posture of me is in the water.

Under the surface. It is common to set objects for reflection, but this one also prepares the sitting pose ball. The one sitting below is my sister. Skirt will not be suitable for this.

There are many persons who have the second account, but we are real twins that were born incidentally at the start of SL. We have the same birth date, but I came in a little later. The younger sister is used for photo shooting or house-sitting, but is not used recently since it became heavier. Two shots after a long time, so I let her sit on a main position. Although both of us are using the same shape, why does the sister on the left look younger than me?

This is also in the SIM but I cannot say if these are made for reflection or not. It is possible to go in both side and different scenes are set respectively. But it was impossible to get proper perspective with any camera angle. Is it a joke trick by the artist?

Interesting Museum

Visited the art SIM by Haveit Neox who exhibited his arts at UWA 3D Art Challenge. The total SIM is a kind of museum and every corner of the maze-like layout has different expression. This is a field of flowers with some eerie atmosphere, so I wore Navi avatar.

May be because of the texture or color? An interior that carries uneasy and tense feeling. This space would be for another artist.

There was the prototype(?) of the 'Binary Stable' that was presented at UWA. I was not able to shoot better picture than before, so I put here the previous one again. I noticed that the girl in the arms opens her eyes.

A cool figure with the sea forming a background. This SIM is like a maze and it is hard to see all. I lost my way when came back to shoot the same figure again.

A locking bed with strange taste. Navi figure might not fit, so I changed clothing, but this outfit also may not suitable. This subject continues to the next.

Standing?

Kerupa Flow's "Standing?" This black figure is painted on the road behind it. There are some artists in RL who do this nicely on the street.
Smarter Earth: http://slurl.com/secondlife/SmarterEarth/212/42/30

How could this be done? It might be possible to skew the figure using Photoshop and put it on as a texture.

I have seen a picture called Trompe loeil that makes a two-dimensional picture as though it has depth, but this one is the other way around. It looks normal Trompe loeil from this angle… "Foxy Room" by the same artist.

The object that looked behind was set closer. Moving camera makes me dizzy.

"Invisible Dance". This makes a double trick. The shade that looks standing is there actually.

Mizuki, the artist who is widely known as a trick artist is holding a joint exhibition with Yana. Also her arts will be used in "Eco Products 2011". All her arts do not rely on tricks but are wonderful works with full of poetic sentiment. Please visit! A free art book is given out at the site.
